Poetic jazz by a rising musician
From powerful, rousing pieces to tender, thoughtful melodies, the young saxophonist Charlotte Lang from Basel immerses the audience in dream worlds. She amazes with a soft, rich sound, whether on the saxophones or the bass clarinet. The groovy rhythms create a bouncy carpet of sound on which the soloists spread out in a way that is both flattering and demanding.
